OVERVIEW

Sunday we begin to feel the Sun / Jupiter conjunction of Monday. Both Sunday and Monday are extremely “lucky” days, so grab it all as best you can. But please do understand that much of your “luck” will come from “cleaning house” and leaning out your life. Eliminate the superfluous. Tuesday is a “day off” day, and especially good for “housecleaning.” (Most of the week is good for that.)

Wednesday is another cleanup day, it much of Wednesday is about “hard work.” Clear out anything that is not serving you, and wrap up old project that you wish to no longer address. Thursday is much like Tuesday, and (again), we emphasize cleaning out and wrapping up. Friday is a feel good day, and some remarkable insights can come your way. Write it all down. The New Moon brings a fresh start, and this can be an incredible date night if you can get past an annoying glitch (or two). Saturday is full of glitches. Enjoy what you can and ignore the rest as much as you can. However, some key issue involving education or health (or both) may need to be addressed. This is a busy week, and it sets the stage for the new major cycle that begins with next week.

Sunday

The Sun joins Jupiter tomorrow, and for many people this is one of the “luckiest” periods of the year. Aries feels this nearly as strongly as Libra, but for Cancer or Capricorn it may be a bit odd. Gemini, Aquarius, and Leo do well also, and we would add in Sagittarius except they are dealing with the twin presence of Mars (the “lesser malefic”) and Saturn (the “greater malefic”).
Some people may feel a “glitch” about 1:30 PM CDT but after that expect smooth sailing. With Mercury direct, the change of seasons past, and an “Opportunity Period” per Jim Shawvan, we think this is an excellent period to “get things done.” Stick to housecleaning chores due to a waning moon and know that you might find an important “lost object” (or opportunity) during this time. This is also an excellent time to obtain great deals on items you need to buy (but avoid buying some glitzy thing that will sit around unused).

Mars semisquare Black Moon Lilith creates a sense of “wildness” to this day (as well as the preceding Saturday and following Monday).  For some people, this is intensely passionate sex.  For sexually oriented businesses, this represents a turning point of some kind.  For others, it is just “weird.”  Chiron biquintile Hygeia can lead to amazing breakthroughs in healthcare (think pharmaceuticals, stem cell therapy, and similar).  Jupiter quincunx Ceres tells us that diets started at this time may encounter difficulties and need to be modified or restarted later or both.

Your Birthday Today: For Libras born between September 21st and October 1st, inclusive, this may be one of the “luckiest” years of your life. If you can avoid over-drinking (alcohol or the use of other mood altering drugs), over-eating, or over-eating, this may be one of the best years of your life. Since, at times, you will encounter some difficulties “getting things done,” you will need this “luck.” Also be careful to avoid unproductive tantrums and outbursts of temper from yourself or others.  You may have a powerful sexual experience or relationship this year.

Monday

Sun joins Jupiter today, and we would expect “things” to go well. Pluto stations direct, and this is a bit like the Mercury direct station for Police, Military, and Intelligence agencies: it causes a shakeup. Shakeups likely come to the financial markets as well since Pluto routinely affects them, particularly if changes to the tax laws are announced or companies announce that they have made an “error in their bookkeeping.”

Today has two outer planet / asteroid biquintiles and two outer planet / asteroid noviles.  The ideas flowing to you will be  nothing short of amazing.  Capture all that you can.  Uranus squares Vesta, and surprises and new ideas disrupt traditions (yet another marker that we think signals a reset or “adjustment” in the financial markets).  Expect the unexpected today.

Your Birthday Today:
As we mentioned yesterday, this is a powerful year for you. Finances may be VERY strange for you. Chances are good for large amounts of money to both “come in” and “go out.” Try to save SOME of it if at all possible. You will need it for some rainy day. If you are police, military, or a member of an intelligence agency, do not be surprised if you change employers this year, or at least change positions within your current employer.

Tuesday

Sunday and Monday’s “good luck” vanishes with Mars’ entry into Capricorn. This is unpleasant for many people, but Sagittarius tends to breath a sigh of relief (unless the particular Sagittarian has Capricorn planets, as many do). The Moon is void most of the day, from about 4 AM CDT until about 5 PM CDT. Stick to routine, and expect the typical waning Moon type of Moon v/c. (This is VERY good for breaking bad habits or “weaning” someone or something off of something else (or someone else).) The Moon’s trine to Mars after it enters Capricorn brightens spirits a little, and this is an excellent time for vigorous exercise.

Neptune makes (quad-undecile?) aspects to both Astraea (law, lawyers, and legal system) and Hygeia (health, healthcare, and healthcare providers) on this date.  The Undecile aspects are “Eleventh Harmonic” (aka “11th Harmonic”) and not well understood at this time.  My guess is that they provide a “gateway” of insights into the future similar to the novile series (which often bring us new skills that are subtle but change our lives).  That happens on this date; something powerful and important happens on this mostly v/c day.  We can easily miss just how powerful and important it is.  (Think of it as a bit like a “reverse void”: we shrug off or ignore something as “nothing will come of this” but it turns out to be extraordinarily important.)  Alice Portman write about it “some” on this page.  We also like the entry at Tribe which states this:

“Comprising the eleventh harmonic,wherein the 360 degree circle is divided by eleven and then multiplied, this group of astrological aspects consists of the waxing undecile with an angular value of 32’44, the waxing biundecile of 65’27,the waxing triundecile of 98’11, the waxing quadriundecile of 130’55….[emphasis added]”   We will not duplicate the entire analysis here (that would likely violate copyright!) but do add this important quote from the same source: “If earthly law is a reflection of higher spiritual law, perhaps these eleventh harmonic aspects symbolize a karmic “reorganization of debt” in the form of Divine Grace,mercy,compassion when one is staggering under the load of his burdens of fate,provided,however,that one “petitions the spiritual court” through sincere prayer. ”

For some people, this is an important day in terms of “justice” of some kind.

Hygeia and Astraea are both in the final “fated” degrees of Libra today, so the events that happen will have a “fated” feel to them.  A shakeup is coming regarding healthcare and legal systems.

Mercury biquintile Uranus makes this an extremely important day for writers, inventors, and other brainiacs.  Capture every fleeting idea, no matter how “crazy” it seems now.  If you bacteria culture dies because of the mold that contaminated the petri dish, you want to be the guy who “gets it” and “invents” penicillin (which Fleming did with the penicillin mold in his cultures).  “Mistakes” today can become brilliant insights or inventions!

You will also have much of the same good luck as the other Librans, but you will find it by cleaning out and discarding items that are no longer needed. In this process, you can find items (or ideas) that are particularly powerful. “Lean out” your lifestyle and you can prosper. Save as much money as you can. You will encounter surprises. Do not take them too seriously. But do consider persisting with a new exercise regimen. THAT will be worth it!

Wednesday

Frankly, this is a “nose to the grindstone” kind of day that is about “getting the work done.” People can be heartless on this day; avoid being one of those if you can. A mutable T-Square similar to the one in late June of 2016 influences the day, and issues from that time earlier this year may re-surface. You have the ability to deal with them and, if you wish, to end them. If your desire is to end some situation lingering from late June, then do it today and close out every aspect of it you can.

Vesta triseptile Pallas tells of karma involving traditions and brilliant ideas.  Sun is triseptile Neptune, and Mercury is biseptile Mars!  Triseptiles dominate this day!

We have learned of an additional interpretation: the triseptile can be a window into the future similar to the quintile (brilliant ideas) and novile (subtle insights).  Alice Portman describes septiles as a “wisdom aspect” associated with science, religion, and metaphysical arts such as astrology.  Today is a day where you can have a powerful insight by examining your traditions and rituals or those of people around you.  Being a cultural anthropologist, at least temporarily, can pay off today.

Your Birthday Today:
Hard work pays off this year. Be alert for opportunities, seize them, and work to “make your luck.” The gifts you are given will not blossom without hard work. That is extra important for you this year. Make certain that you, and not someone else, reaps the benefits. If someone else is reaping the benefits of your work, then maybe it is time to change jobs or start your own business.  Look at the traditions that bind you; some of them may need to be dropped in favor of new traditions.

Thursday

The Moon is void all day, starting about 5 AM CDT. A waning void Virgo moon is excellent for housecleaning and discarding unneeded items. It is also good for ending situations that no longer serve you. Similar to Tuesday, make certain that you completely end it and “wrap things up.” The New Moon will bring you new opportunities and likely new people. But you will not have room for them until you finish what is at hand.

Astraea (law and legal systems) and Hygeia (health and healthcare systems) both entire Scorpio today; we all feel a “shift” in these areas and look back to our insights on Tuesday.  Do note that both of these are in the “too early to tell” period (of the first three degrees of a sign), so be careful about taking action today.

Venus sesquiquadrate Chiron amplifies the urgency regarding healthcare or educational issues (or both).

Our advice is almost exactly the same as Tuesday: you will also have much of the same good luck as the other Librans, but you will find it by cleaning out and discarding items that are no longer needed. Friday

The Moon conjoins Jupiter near Noon CDT, and this is a VERY old Moon. Some of us become a bit “psychic” at this time. If you already have “the gift,” then it will be MASSIVELY amplified at this time and on this day. Make certain to write down what comes to you, even the most fleeting and odd of images. For those anticipating Nanowrimo in November, we suggest you sketch out your characters and plot (at a minimum) at this time if you have not already done so. If you HAVE already done so, then develop it more fully. (Since this is a waning moon, you may have to revise. We STILL recommend you capture these important ideas!)

Sun conjoins Moon (New Moon) about 7 PM CDT and this is a GREAT date night! Some of you will go out on a first date with your life partner tonight. Others may not marry this person but will have a particularly memorable experience. Take pictures, make video, and enjoy it as much as you can.

Venus trines Neptune tomorrow, and we already feel it. That means we CAN be fooled, so do not rush into things just because you think this is “the one.” (They might BE the one, but you will find out more later and will have to consider carefully whether or not to proceed. So, do not OVER-commit on this occasion!)
Most people will have a happy evening, but a glitch might occur about 10:30 PM CDT. (“We told you so.”) Move past it, do not let it ruin your evening, and have fun anyway!

Hygeia and Astraea conjoin today, and the issue involving these two “comes to a head.”  Uranus triundecile recently direct Pluto massively amplifies the importance of the issue and the insights gained from the dispute.  Jupiter sesquiqudrate Pallas produces an undeniable sense of urgency.  It must be solved NOW!  Mars binovile Chiron brings insights; Mars trine Ceres raises issues regarding prosperity (or diet or food supply).  It is a complex and important day with more messages than any single person can enjoy.  And, for many, it is a turning point.

This might be the best year of your life; it will certainly be one of them. Major new starts come to some, likely most, of you. Read yesterday. However, more glitches occur as we begin to feel (1) Sun quincunx Neptune and (2) Mercury quincunx Uranus; both of these perfect on Sunday. But, you will feel both of them a little on Friday and much more so today. Glitches occur, so take things carefully.

Venus trine Neptune is both the “ultimate feel good aspect” and the “too good to be true aspect.” Have a fun time but do not make any major purchases and do not sign any contracts.

Mercury opposes Chiron. Either educational or healthcare or both sets of issues arise, and chances are good this involves something that happened during Mercury Retrograde in September. You have to deal with it now. Wrap it up and move forward if at all possible.

Neptune sesquiquadrate Vesta brings both confusion and a sense of urgency regarding our traditions and routines today.  Parades are rained out; similar kinds of things happen to other events.

Your Birthday Today:
Keep a journal because this will be one of the oddest years of your life. Some good things, the best of things, are coming your way, and some of the most annoying people or events or both will grace your doorstep as well. Write it all down. If nothing else, it will be an amazing story but it might become the basis of an amazing novel, a bestseller. Track it all. Expect glitches, and just remember that they are part of the story.

Overview

We have a busy week this week.  Depending on your time zone, Mercury stations direct on either the 21st or 22nd (but we feel the station all week long, and probably felt it last week).  In most time zones, the Autumnal Equinox (aka “first day of Fall”) is the 22nd.  By themselves, those two signal major shifts.

Sunday, Venus opposes Uranus, and that would be enough, by itself, to make the day “interesting.”  The Moon joins that mix, joining Uranus and opposing Venus.  What could that mean?  Septile aspects abound, some of them outer planet, and we feel massive “karma.”  Monday the Moon has two quincunxes that some people MIGHT call a yod.  If so, a decision is at hand, probably a minor one that Mercury forces us to revisit later.  A sesquiquadrate gives us a sense of urgency, and noviles provide us with fleeting lessons or insights that will be important later.  Jim Shawvan identifies an “Opportunity Period” Monday / Tuesday, but we think it is a “tricky” one given Mercury and the impending change of seasons.  Wednesday seems nearly quiet but we might receive an important insight regarding how we treat our Martians (police and military).  Maybe they need a little better care!  Mercury stations Direct Wednesday or Thursday, and the stations are ALWAYS a time to pause and re-evaluate.  The change of seasons is Thursday for most, another signal for a PAUSE to re-evaluate!  Friday Mercury Trine Pluto tells us to STOP PAUSING and START MOVING even though Mercury is still a bit uncertain.  Mis-steps can happen, but we push forward anyway.  Venus moves to Scorpio, and sex and secrets dominate some of us.  Others are forced to deal with “healing our traditions,” a bit of an odd task for some.  Saturday brings a curious mix of powerful insights along with an important need to help others.  A kind word to someone today can make a huge difference.  (Like the difference between whether they shoot someone or not!)

Sunday

Sunday is complex and busy.  Mercury is retrograde, but we “feel” the direct station coming, and that causes us to have an important need to double check everything.  Computers and cell phones and cars and motorcycles are at risk of failure or needed maintenance all week long.  Do not be surprised if you see important “patches” come out from major computer vendors during this window.  GLBT people can truly prosper at this time, and new romances for them can blossom.  Others see a window for financial windfalls or improved health.  Starting an exercise reigmen at this time can be wise even if you need to “re-do” it several times.  Test your “New Years Resolutions” now to see what works and what does not.  Opportunities come; the wise will seize them.

Give back, give back, GIVE BACK!  We cannot emphasize this strongly enough this week.  Do it anonymously without thought of future compensation.  Do so, and you will likely receive an odd “gift” that seems totally unrelated but turns out to be very worthwhile.

The day is mostly a good one if you skip past the minor glitch that occurs in the early morning and the other minor glitch that occurs in the evening.  You can do this, right?  An offer looks attractive, and you feel an urge to push forward.  Do realize that not everything is as it seems.  Even so, the deal is a good one and you should pursue it anyway.  A Mercury / Venus novile gives us a fleeting insight that can lead to an important skill later.  Two additional noviles occur; some of the ideas are nothing short of “wild.”  Capture it, write it down or draw it; you will need it later.

Overview

The Full Moon of September 16th, a Lunar Appulse Eclipse that corresponds to the Full Moon of August 18th, dominates the week along with Jupiter’s entry into Libra last week and perfection of Saturn square Neptune last week.  Monday, Retrograde Mercury squares Mars, something that happens a number of times this year, and tempers fly and rage leads to unfortunate events and violence.  Tuesday, the annual Sun square Mars aspects amplifies problems with rage and violence.  Wednesday, septiles bring us more issues of “karma,” continuing from last week.  Mars square Chiron on Thursday brings more heartache in the educational realm, healthcare, or both.  Venus Novile the North Node on Friday can bring us an insight or lesson, if we are paying attention.  Saturday Mars trines Uranus, bringing oddball accidents that somehow ultimately benefit us.  It is a tough week.

Sunday

Venus square Pluto provides GREAT SEX for some on Saturday of last week or Sunday of this week or both.  Some remarkable romances will start at this time.  The rest of us better check our pocketbooks because finances can go sour.  Be on top of your finances, and you might can turn this situation to your advantage.

Your birthday today: this year is all about love and sex and romance or it is about money and finances.  Or, it could be all of the above.  Marriages formed this year can be very powerful.

Monday

Watch your temper, and today can be a great day.  You will likely have energy, maybe too much energy, and you need to focus it on capturing those great creative ideas that come your way.

Thursday

The Full Moon is near, and it happens tomorrow.  People are a bit scattered and strange.  Look back at what you were, or were not, doing on August 18th and September 1st.  The lessons learned, or not, may prove important now.  Breakthroughs happen in a number of fields including martians (police, military, intelligence agencies), healthcare, and computers / electrical engineering.

The healthcare issues today will provide important lessons and certain people will develop important skills.  Pay attention!

August ends this week and September begins.  Labor Day has not yet arrived, yet we more fully feel that Summer is over.  Sunday is mostly quiet though we do have the karmic Venus triseptile Uranus.  Venus also forms a quintile to Saturn, and brilliant insights can be had about practical matters.  The Moon is waning and headed toward the New Moon on Saturday.  Monday Venus enters Libra, and relationships become particularly important.  If we had wild sex last week with someone new, then it is time to make a decision whether or not we are willing to publicly acknowledge that romance.  Mars squares the North Node, and karma is in play (meaning we will reap what we have sewn).  Mercury joins Venus, and chatter about relationships and romance are amplified.  Mercury finally makes the Retrograde station on Tuesday, and we have been feeling that for the past few weeks but especially this week.  Sun sesquiquadrate Uranus on Wednesday brings surprises, maybe a broken or infected cell phone, tablet, or computer.  Thursday, September 1st, the Sun makes its annual square to Saturn, and we all feel like we had better “buckle down” and get to work.  We might feel a bit depressed about the “daily grind” we go through.  Friday the Sun opposes Neptune, and either we are home sick with something like ragweed allergies or we feel so low energy that we might as well be sick.  This day is best used to reading or writing poetry or photography or videography or something similar.  Retrograde Mercury joins Jupiter on Friday, and we have to review some important matter.  Saturday our ideas will not leave us alone, and we should write down what comes to us at this time.

Sunday

Except for necessary homework or anything like that, you can “take the day off.”  And, you should.

That said, the Moon in Cancer opposes Pluto in Capricorn and squares Uranus in Aries forming a cardinal T-Square that might be felt Saturday and might be felt Monday but is mostly something that affects today.  For most people, this is a “tempest in a teapot” and has no lasting effect.  Some people who are Aries, Cancer, Libra or Capricorn will feel today as a “trigger point” day and this will be a turning point.  By turning point we mean that “the straw that breaks the Camel’s back” has fallen and an otherwise trivial event triggers something big.  This can also be true for anyone with a planet at 17 degrees (in aspect to Pluto) or 23 degrees (in aspect to Uranus) in their natal chart.  And if you have any kind of Venus / Uranus aspect in your natal chart (or are LGBT), then you might “feel” today a bit more strongly.

Some people will have breakthrough ideas about a practical matter. (Venus quintile Saturn) For creatives this might be a way to do your art that should have been obvious before but was not.  Today it becomes obvious, and that is a different kind of turning point for you than the one listed above (unless you are specifically in one of the groups mentioned).  This new method might actually involve doing LESS to achieve MORE.

Again, for everyone else it is a good day to ignore minor dramas and “take the day off” and rest and relax if you can.

 Monday

This is the day before the Mercury Retrograde Station, and if your cell phone, tablet, computer, automobile, boat, or plan has not already gone haywire, chances are good that it will today or in the next few days.  Double check everything and take nothing for granted.

Tuesday

Mercury stations retrograde, and many things seem to go haywire.  But Jim Shawvan identifies two “back to back” opportunity periods from Sunday through today, so you still might come across some powerful opportunity that you need to seize.  If so, then seize it.  This is likely to be a hidden opportunity in the form of something that is broken or misplaced or “odd.”  Change your thinking so you can see what needs to be seen and hear what needs to be heard.

Wednesday

Wednesday is strangely quiet, leaving us to wonder what the universe has in store for us.  Ceres moves retrograde.   People with eating disorders may have had setbacks by this point in time, but they can also learn from them and find what does, and does not, work.  The Moon is void until a bit past 10 AM CDT and moves into Virgo after that.  We should bring closure to what we can, given what Mercury Retrograde will allow us to accomplish before the New Moon tomorrow, a Solar Eclipse, slightly past 4 AM CDT.

Thursday

As if the Mercury Retrograde station were not enough, we have a Solar Eclipse (and, therefore, a New Moon) in the early hours near 4 AM CDT.  Ships and other ocean going vessels may be able to see this eclipse at sunrise in the Atlantic Ocean.  This map shows the path of the eclipse.  A few hours after the eclipse, the Moon opposes Neptune and squares Saturn, activating a mutable T-Square (involving the ongoing Saturn / Neptune squares) and bringing attention to decisions and events made circa June 20th and several weeks earlier in August.

Sun squares Saturn, and we feel that we MUST get certain things done.  We may also feel a bit depressed with our daily grind.  Accomplishment on eclipse days can be difficult, but the results can also be rather long lasting.  And then there is tomorrow.

Friday

Sun opposes Neptune, and that makes today a sick day for many people, likely due to seasonal allergies such as ragweed allergy.  Mercury (retrograde) joins Jupiter, and we look back to Monday August 22nd to better understand how we came to be in the situation we now face.  Moon joins Mercury then Jupiter to emphasize this situation, arguably forming a Virgo Stellium.  The emphasis, now, is on hard work and details.  This is probably NOT a Friday to “take the afternoon off.”  Defer the “fun” and get to work.  You know what has to be done, so do it.

Today is VERY complex in terms of outer planet (generational) aspects, and this may be another day that you see as a “turning point” in hindsight.   Do something for someone less fortunate than yourself (with no expectation of recognition or any form of return).

Power struggles involving traditions and “how we have always done things” might emerge.

Saturday

This is the Saturday of Labor Day Weekend, and you will be tempted to play.  Moon has moved into Libra, and you may need to spend some time with family or loved ones.

Athletes, police, and military (aka “martians”) are active today, but it is VERY messy for them.  If you are in one of these categories, then you need to re-think “how we have always done things.”  The saying “if it ain’t broke, don’t ‘fix’ it” does not apply well in situations where “it” is clearly “broke.”

Overview

The Sun leaves Leo and enters Virgo on Monday August 22nd.  This is also the last full week of August.

For many, Summer is over and school starts.  This affects both students and close relatives (i.e. parents) of students.  “Back to School” dominates, and this is the kind of thing where Virgo excels.

Sunday is quiet astrologically, and we hope that means that students and those around them have a quiet window to prepare for the week ahead.  Monday Mercury is conjunct Jupiter, and this is excellent for higher education as well as foreign travel and legal matters.  Sun sesquiquadrate Pluto gives as very “urgent” feel to Monday, especially regarding finances or similar issues.  Tuesday things can become very ugly with Mars Sesquiquadrate Uranus; we think this is a particularly dangerous day.  Mars joins Saturn on Wednesday, and we have a different version of Tuesday.  SOME problems can be prevented, and Venus opposite Chiron tells us that we must acknowledge the “Wounded Healer” within each of us and the others we meet.  Thursday has an oddball disruption, a surprise that might lead to an insight, maybe.  Friday is very “karmic,” and we need to help others.  Also, Friday is a day where you likely cannot trust what you hear, particularly from politicians and snake oil salesmen.  (I bet Bill Clinton will have a statement to make on Friday!  He has a version of this aspect (Mars Square Neptune) in his natal chart.  Saturday appears to be a day of grace, and we will all need that by the end of this week.

Sunday

As we mentioned, this is a remarkably quiet day.  The one particularly unpleasant issue that arises is that people with eating disorders may panic regarding the thought of encountering their peers (presumably at school, Vesta / Ceres minor aspect).  We think that this is mostly a quiet and productive day except for some possibly glitches in the afternoon or evening.

Monday

This first day of school for some has both a void Moon and a void Sun.  The Sun enters Virgo shortly before Noon CDT but the Moon does not enter Taurus until some time after 4 PM CDT.  That makes today a day of restarts, and in higher education that will surely manifest as adding and dropping classes.  Wait to do those add / drops until this evening or tomorrow.  Jim Shawvan identifies an “Opportunity Period” from the time the Moon enters Taurus until just before 3 PM on Wednesday.

Mars makes a minor aspect to Pluto, and some spats might emerge.  Neptune trine Vesta means that many should consider taking pictures, particularly of anything that even faintly resembles a ceremony or ritual.  Think broadly about these; even standing in line at the cafeteria might be considered a kind of ritual.

Tuesday

Glitches hit Tuesday morning but clear out by afternoon.  Today “feels” a bit like a day when people will tend to become agitated.  Lawyers and judges will especially feel an urgent need to pursue matters and “clear the docket.”  Some people will learn new ideas and have important insights regarding diet and healthcare.  Overall, this is a good day.  You can “get things done” today, and you can feel good about what you accomplish.

Wednesday

Mars joins Saturn at 6 AM CDT and some people will decide not to go to school.  Oddly, that might be a good idea since some people who DO go to school today might be rather dangerous.  Uranus / Black Moon Lilith tells us some people may be very “wild and untamed” today.  And some people who work in sexually oriented businesses may have breakthrough insights about how to make money or promote their chosen career / business.  As far as health and healthcare go, this is a very “karmic” day in which more than a few people will “reap what they have sewn” because of a Hygeia / North Node aspect.

Thursday

Mars square Neptune dominates the day, and also affects both yesterday and tomorrow.  In some time zones that aspect perfects late today, and in more western zones early Friday.  Politicians and snake oil salesman will be uttering a variety of comments that “may not be quite true.”  Additionally, do not be surprised if you see a scandal break at a convention of some kind.  (No, not necessarily the DNC, but MAYBE them.)  Chances are good it will involve prostitutes or some kind of illicit or unusual sex.  Two North Node aspects tell us that today is “extra” karmic.

Friday

Mars square Neptune is still in effect; you cannot believe everything you hear.  Moon forms numerous squares on this day, leading to glitches and anger about said glitches.  Squabbles are almost certain.  Moon squares, successively, Chiron, Venus, Jupiter, and Mercury, turning void of course at 7:30 PM CDT after it squares Mercury.  By 10 PM CDT the Moon has entered Cancer, and that means that tonight is a good night to stay home.  Party if you must, but that is not what we recommend.

Saturday

Vesta aspects the North Node, and traditions are an issue again.  Today they tend to be more favorable.  Venus joins Jupiter, and you may have a tendency to spend “too much money.”  But in a waning moon buyers are favored over sellers, so you might consider a gamble and buy that expensive item that you do not have to have this afternoon.  Chances are good that it will work out well for you, but so will hanging on to your money, avoiding debt, and building savings.  The choice is yours.

Except for some glitches in the early evening (near midnight in UK / EU), today is mostly a day of grace and a good day to rest.  (But, if you feel you must push, then know that you can also accomplish much today and take tomorrow off.  Again, the choice is yours.)

Overview

The Full Moon / Lunar eclipse dominates this week, but the Venus / Neptune opposition, Sun trine Uranus, Venus trine Pluto, and Mercury opposite Chiron are also important influences.  Sunday, and the entire weekend preceding this Sunday, is dominated by Venus (Virgo) opposite Neptune (Pisces) which presents people, places, and things in the rosiest light possible.  “Things” are not really as they seem at this time, and Sun biseptile Mars means that some kind of karma is involved, a debt to be paid now or later.  Tuesday we have the annual Sun trine Uranus which brings us surprises and possibly important insights, but Sun quincunx Chiron is unpleasant and Venus joins the Node to make this another karmic day.  Wednesday we might feel the first wakeup call from this past weekend as Venus trines Pluto either making us pay the price for indiscretion or reap the benefit of proper action over the weekend.  The Full Moon, and eclipse, perfects Thursday and everything changes.  Friday is unpleasant with Mercury quincunx Uranus and opposite Chiron.  This is a very Chironic week (the wounded healer is operating, telling us that we can only heal ourselves by teaching others the lessons we have learned).  Saturday brings important insights.

Sunday

We have said it all in several places, but we will say it again: people, places, and things are not as they seem today or this weekend.  With Sun biseptile Mars we have a karmic day, and we recommend anonymous donations to help retired or disabled police and military veterans.  Vesta squares Astraea meaning that traditions and ceremonies may go awry and lead to lawsuits.  Vesta also aspects the North Node, bring even more feeling of karma to this day.  Observe traditions if you must, but do know things may be a bit askew today.

Monday

Today looks very “lunar” EXCEPT Mars Novile Pluto which brings important insights to athletes, police, military, and other similar warriors / martians.  Marvin locates his Space Modulator today.  Depending on whose side you are on, this is either very good or very bad.  These “space modulator” issues of the martians dominate the day.  Moon moves void of course shortly before 10 PM CDT.

Tuesday

Moon moves into Aquarius (and too early to tell for a few hours) near 7 AM CDT today.  For the UK and EU, the morning is consumed by a Capricorn void of course moon.  Those tend to give you what you asked for, but not what you want.  Sun (Leo) trine Uranus (Aries) brings surprises and insights but Sun quincunx Chiron (Pisces) is unpleasant regarding educational or healthcare issues (or both).  If you are Chironic, you might have trouble explaining your situation to someone else in a healthcare or educational setting.  Additionally, the martians are still active.  This could be a rather dangerous day for some people.

Wednesday

If you have not felt the Full Moon / Eclipse that is building just yet, you will almost certainly feel it by today.  Venus (Virgo) trines Pluto (Capricorn) and you have a chance to make an important accomplishment today as long as it is practical.  Dealing with finances, taxes, or anything similar is particularly favored today.  Jim Shawvan identifies an “Opportunity Period” that starts Tuesday morning and continues until the eclipse tomorrow morning near 4:30 AM CDT.  We agree.  This is an important day to “get things done.”  For some people, it is a critically important turning point.

Thursday

In the early morning hours in the Western Hemisphere, and by Noon in the EU / UK, we have both a Full Moon and an Eclipse.  It is an important turning point for some people, particularly air signs (Libra, Aquarius, Gemini) and fire signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius).  Moon moves void of course after perfection of the Lunar Eclipse and remains void until it enters Pisces about 11:30 AM CDT.  Both Pluto and Saturn aspect Black Moon Lilith on this date, and this feels like the kind of Full Moon / Eclipse where you might actually see a werewolf.  Or, maybe you yourself turn into a werewolf.  In any case, some people will “take a walk on the wild side.”

Friday

Mercury opposes Chiron and quincunxes Uranus.  Today feels a bit like some kind of mirror image of Tuesday.  Now, however, some kind of progress might can be made in education or healthcare (or both), but oddball surprises and strange misleading “insights” tempt us to move off course from the direction we should head.  The Piscean moon moves void of course a little past 7 AM CDT and then moves into Aries a little past 2 PM CDT.  During this window “things” can be very messy.  After that, we are in the “too early to tell” window for the moon, so this tends to feel like a day where much may be done, but little is actually accomplished.

Additionally, Saturn quincunx Vesta brings back some issues from this past Sunday, and issues involving our traditions and how we celebrate them arise again.  Pomp and Circumstance may not be particularly strong, now, and we need to stick to the basics and the core of what our traditions are and what they mean to us.

Saturday

Saturday is strong with the Piscean Moon joining Chiron and then opposing first Mercury and then Jupiter.  A little past 7 AM CDT the moon moves void of course until it enters Aries shortly past 2 PM CDT.  Before the Moon moves void, much work  of a Piscean nature can be accomplished and Jim Shawvan includes the void as an “Opportunity Period.”  However, Piscean pursuits tend to be poetry, lyrics, photography, videography, spiritual pursuits, and helping others.

The martians are active again, and this time they are much smarter, much better organized, and much more effective than earlier this week.  Whether or not that is considered favorable depends on where you are in relation to them.

This is a busy day in terms of both lunar and outer planet aspects.  Many will have a breakthrough insight or develop a new skill that provides better health or better access to healthcare.  Others will take a “walk on the wild side,” similar to Thursday.  Again, this is a busy day with much happening.

Details regarding traditions are worked out, but a few pranksters may still have some fun along the way.  Someone, maybe several someones, working in a sexually oriented business will have a windfall today.

Overview

The Moon continues to wax, and we can accomplish a few things this week.  But Sunday is best devoted to spiritual practices, music, poetry, photography, and similar pursuits.  And, even some of those may not work out the way you expect.  Monday is an odd day, and difficult to interpret, but karma is once again in play.  Help someone less fortunate than yourself.  Tuesday we reap what we have sewn.  Wednesday may have power struggles but we can learn beneficial and important lessons from them.  We make progress on Wednesday.  Thursday is odd, a bit like Monday except that we can have awakenings and insights.  Write down your ideas, even the most oddball ones.  Friday we encounter issues involving health, higher education, or both.  It is a very karmic, and maybe dangerous, day.  Saturday is incredibly busy with many things happening as Saturn moves Station Direct.  We feel the impending Saturn shift all week long, and it gives us a powerful and urgent feeling that we had better “get things done.”  Venus sesquiquadrate Uranus confirms that feeling that we “had better” get things done.  And, we had better.

Sunday

Sun quincunx Pluto gives us unresolvable power struggles.  The immovable object meets the irresistible force.  But certain things can be accomplished today, and if you waste your time on the power struggles then you may lose those opportunities.  Try to be audience to these rather than participant.  Take pictures of it.  Make video of it.  Write poetry, music, and lyrics about it.  Just do not participate in it unless you want to lose the day and the opportunities.  Some people go to jail today (or early morning hours after too much drugs or alcohol), and their lives change forever.  We wish we could say it is a “good change,” but we cannot.  Stay out of that.

Uranus quadrinovile Astraea gives powerful insights about the legal and justice system and can lead to important new skills.  Given another septile (karma) today, you may want to “bail them out again.”  If you are in that role, an “enabler” role, you might have a chance to turn the tide in your own life if not theirs.  Today can be a turning point for you.  If you go the route of “I am not bailing them out again this time,” then you might regret it.  If at all possible, do not do anything to be recognized or take credit for helping someone.  That would backfire.  (Maybe you can send the bail money through an anonymous third party?)

Monday

The Moon turns void shortly before 1 PM CDT.  Accomplish what you can in the morning.  Today will find much busy work but little accomplishment.  The day seems odd and empty.  Saturn triseptile Vesta brings an odd and possibly harsh sense of karma to traditions, especially police and military traditions.  Helping an old or disabled veteran, anonymously and without thought or hope of return or recognition, is a good use of your time and money today.  In some ways, this is an astrological version of Veterans’ Day or Memorial Day.  Consider taking it off.

Tuesday

For better or worse, you will reap what you have sewn today, especially with your words and your travels.  A few people in healthcare or education (or both) will have brilliant insights and breakthroughs today.  Emotions run high, and people are easily wounded or offended.  To the best of your ability try to help rather than harm.  Harsh words can be particularly unwise.

Wednesday

We move from First Quarter to Second Quarter, and Jim Shawvan identifies a huge “Opportunity Period” today.  We agree.  Today brings an important gift to certain people, but those people have to be aware of what it is.  Pay attention.

Breakthrough ideas come today.  Write them down.  Draw them.  Email them to yourself or a friend.  Do what it takes to capture them.  They are important.  In the western half of North America, the Moon moves to void of course near midnight.

Thursday

The moon remains v/c until half past Noon CDT.  The morning is good for intense cleaning out, and you might find important lost objects.  Today feels a bit like Monday, odd and empty and karmic.  Mars binovile North Node is karmic, and you reap what you have sewn.  But you also learn an important lesson and might develop an important new skill.  As we always say, and said yesterday, pay attention.  Write it down, draw it, tell a trusted friend, or email it to yourself.  It matters.

Friday

Jupiter (Virgo) opposes Chiron (Pisces), and today feels like yet another karmic day this week and this summer and this year.  They just never seem to “let up” do they?  The Moon square Venus (Virgo), joins Saturn (Sagittarius), and squares Neptune (Pisces).  Near midnight today or tomorrow the Moon also squares Mercury (Virgo).  A huge mutable T-Square, a version of the same one from last week and June 20th earlier this year, dominates today along with the perfection of Jupiter opposite Chiron.  Moon may be waning, but this is about completing and finishing old projects so you can move on to new ones.  Mercury Retrograde is not far away, so that is a very good day of your time today.

Do note that Moon becomes void of course at half past Noon when it squares Jupiter.  Moon square Jupiter tends to spend money on unnecessary purchases and favors sellers.  With a void moon, these purchases will likely not work as expected or may not work at all.

Moon moves into Capricorn slightly past 11 PM CDT.  You might have trouble sleeping tonight, but that is likely the best thing to attempt.

Saturday

Venus opposes Neptune tomorrow, but many will feel its effects today.  People, places, and things are not as they seem.  You tend to rate them too favorably, and that particularly applies to those purchases that you made yesterday afternoon despite our warning.  Use this date and tomorrow for developing poetry, lyrics, music, photography, and video.  This is a superb day for such creative arts.

Saturn moves direct, and that dominates this day and this week.  As Venus squares Saturn many of us will use this (appropriately) as a work day.  As long as you are realistic in your objectives, you can accomplish much.  But, do keep in mind the warning about unrealistic expectations and people, places, and things not being what they seem.

This is a very complex day that we find difficult to interpret.  But you can come up with some brilliant ideas, again, that you should write down, draw, or email to yourself for future use.  Do make certain that you do this.  Find a way to capture the ideas.

Overview

The early part of the week is dominated by a New Moon that forms a yod with Pluto in Capricorn and Neptune in Pisces.  We face a critically important decision as this new cycle starts, and no matter which choice we make we will always wonder what would have happened had we chosen the other path.  Mars enters Sagittarius a few hours before the New Moon perfects, and we feel a major shift.  Wednesday finds perfection of a series of aspects that confirm the power and important of this yod (decision(s)).

Moon perfects a mutable T-Square on Thursday in a series of aspects with Mars (Sagittarius), Saturn (Sagittarius), Mercury (Virgo), and Neptune (Pisces).  We also start to see the foundations for events that we will revisit in the upcoming Mercury Retrograde.  Venus joins Mercury in Virgo on Friday.  Saturday sees Mercury square Saturn (a critically important need to pay attention to details) and Venus square Mars (often a romantic night for many and a time to examine how we “get things done” for others).

Sunday

The last day of July finds us with Venus in Leo perfecting a trine with retrograde Uranus in Aries in the western part of North America.  This aspect perfects on Monday in the eastern portion and UK & Europe but is also felt today.  Unusual or non-traditional romances may emerge at this time, and if you were in such a relationship but it “did not work out” then you might have a second chance.  This includes, but is not limited to, gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and polyamorous relationships.  Unusual financial ideas or arrangements may present themselves at this time also.

The Moon is very old at this point, and whatever you try at this time may not work out.  Do not expect projects started at this time, or relationships resurrected at this time to last.  If they do, then count yourself lucky.  But, for many, today and tonight are all about obtaining closure.  You will be feeling a Venus / Chiron quincunx, and that presents a pronounced disconnect and misunderstandings involving Venus (love, romance, beauty, finances) and Chiron (the wounded healer, health issues and educational issues).  This is a good day to “clean house” with a plan for a new launch on Wednesday after the New Moon.

Monday

A fair number of you will still feel the Venus / Uranus trine of yesterday along with Venus / Chiron quincunx that perfects today.  For many, this will be an unpleasant and even painful day.  Sun trines Saturn, and we get the message that we need to buckle down and get to work.  But the New Moon is not quite here yet, and we have another day best spent in housecleaning and wrapping up old, undone chores.  August may be here, but the new cycle has not started just yet.

Neptune and Ceres form a septile, and we have one of the strangest variants on karma we can imagine today.  But this might be a good day to make a donation, without any thought of recognition or return, to a local food bank.  Jupiter quadrinovile Pallas means a few of you will have an important insight or the opportunity to develop an important new skill related to higher education, the law, or foreign travel.  (This could apply to learning to speak a new language.)

Tuesday

All bets are off.  The Leo New Moon perfects at 3:45 PM CDT, and, if we are smart, we spend the earlier part of the day in house cleaning and preparation for a launch on Wednesday.  The Moon is Cazimi from 3:30 PM CDT until 4 PM CDT, and that is a special window that typically grants us a single wish, usually in the form of some kind of fresh start.

As we mentioned earlier in the Overview, the New Moon forms a Yod with Neptune (Pisces) and Pluto (Capricorn).  We face a critically important decision, and we cannot run from it.  Fortunately, a Mystic Rectangle favors us, and a pair of interlaced Kites (what we call a “Kite Key”) will present us with at least one, if not two, opportunities that may be “once in a lifetime” opportunities.  The details of it are with us today and all day tomorrow.  Seize the Brass Ring or let it pass by, the choice is yours.

Wednesday

This is a very “Leo” kind of day, and it is all about management, leadership, and being focused enough to get something important done.  You have a decision left from yesterday, and still in effect today, to act upon.  Failure to decide is a decision itself, and this set of aspects argues against any thought of abdicating responsibility.  Do not do that under these circumstances.  Venus becomes void just past 11 PM CDT.

Mars biquintile Uranus can give some of us brilliant insights, but for others it may be dangerously unpleasant.  Temper tantrums can erupt into full blow wars that all parties regret.  Pallas biquintile Hygeia gives some people in the healthcare field brilliant insights, and some may patent these breakthroughs.  Pluto biseptile Astraea brings fierce battles and questions of justice and karma in the legal system.  This is a very busy day in terms of outer planet aspects (generational aspects), and we suspect that (for better or worse) this will be a “day to remember” for some people.

Thursday

Moon moves into Virgo at 2:34 AM CDT (during rush hour in EU and UK), and we feel a shift again.  If you did what you needed to do on Tuesday and Wednesday, then today begins to focus on taking care of necessary details.

Moon successively (1) squares Mars (Sagittarius), (2) conjoins Mercury (Virgo), (3) squares Saturn (Sagittarius), and (4) opposes Neptune (Pisces) essentially forming a T-Square that gives us a sense of urgency to bring to a close the work we started on Tuesday and Wednesday and move beyond the first milestone and to the next stage.  We may even be following up on some critical incident that happened on or near the Full Moon of June 20th.  This day is all about “getting things done,” and if you encounter small glitches just recognize that they are part of the process and you must push beyond them.  Venus is void, and your work in health, beauty, romance, or finances may have to be re-done later, but you still need to work through the process so that a foundation is laid for later changes and updates.

Mars semi-square Pluto leaves many of us (still) irritable as hell.  Transform this into the ability to focus on details and “get things done,” and you will count this as also being a worthwhile day.

Friday

Venus enters Virgo near 10:30 AM CDT, and enters the “too early to tell” period for a few days.  Earlier, Ceres quincunx Astraea leaves some people wondering if they will ever have justice for the wrongs done to them.  Not yet, but maybe someday.  Jim Shawvan identifies an “Opportunity Period” for most of this day, but we note that the status of Venus may mean certain activities may have to be re-visited later or re-done or re-worked.  Even so, mostly this is a good day to “get things done,” especially if they require an attention to detail.

Moon moves void of course after 10:20 PM CDT, and this is a good window to pause and relax.

Saturday

Moon remains void of course Saturday morning until Noon CDT when Moon moves into Libra.  Mercury (Virgo) squares Saturn (Sagittarius), and that aspect is always about attention to detail.  So, pay attention to the important details in your life, and you will benefit from your efforts this day.  Even though the moon is now waxing, we like this as a house cleaning day and a day to review the budget, taxes, and anything related to examine the details for how you can improve your personal and household finances.  Evening has Venus square Mars, and that is superb for romance for some people, and a good time to look at how we “get things done” for other people.

Mars squares Pallas, and some of us erupt into fights or brawls.  Injuries, maybe life changing injuries, happen due to rash behavior.  Others are able to focus this into developing brilliant ideas.

Overview

The early part of the week is dominated by the Full Moon on Tuesday after a very “karmic” day on Sunday.  Sun becomes void shortly past midnight (CDT) on Sunday and remains void until early Friday.  Edit: The Sun becomes void after the Full Moon on That makes accomplishment of lasting results during this period, most of the week, somewhere between difficult and impossible.  If you do get results, they will tend to be perverse or oddball.  Mercury is highly active this week, and many of the aspects are disruptive.  Arguments, fights, car problems, plane crashes, and similar will be the norm.  Telecommunications may be knocked out; traffic jams will likely be prevalent.  “Things” get better Friday, and Saturday is a “breakthrough day” for some people (perhaps many).

Sunday

This is a curious “mixed” kind of day where some people can “jump out of” astrology forecasts, karma, and almost anything else acting to constrain them.  Sun sesquiquadrate Saturn gives us a powerful sense of urgency about duty and possible loss.  Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces feel this most strongly.  We feel we “must do something” though we may not be certain what.  Yesterday’s annual square of the Sun to Uranus still exerts itself today, and upsets are quite likely for some people, notably Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn.  If you have a mix of these signs (for example: Pisces/Aries or Virgo/Libra) then you may feel this day particularly strongly.

Mercury and Venus BiSeptile Uranus, giving this day a particularly “karmic” feel for some people though hopefully not the kind of monstrous kind we have seen this summer with the Pulse Club Shooter, the Sniper in Dallas, Bastille Day in France, or the Coupe in Turkey.  (My apologies if I left anyone out.)  It COULD be one of those days, to be certain, but not as likely as some of the others.

Mars trine Chiron brings up issues of healing, and given this combination in Scorpio / Pisces we might be wrong in the previous paragraph.  Maybe this is another “dangerous day.”  Sun enters this as well, creating a Grand Water Trine (those have been popular lately) and a tremendous money-making opportunity for some people.

Sun is void a bit after midnight and continues void until Friday.  THAT makes this a particularly “challenging” week all by itself.

Monday

Sun is sesquiquadrate Neptune, and we have confusion mixed with a sense of urgency.  We, once again, feel we “must do something,” but our ideas are unrealistic and disconnected.  We really do need to re-think our position later.  Mercury sesquiquadrate amplifies and worsens the situation described in the previous sentences.  This is a great day for artists: photographers, videographers, poets, musicians, and song writers can have a breakthrough day today, especially if their work addresses healing the recent wounds.

North Node septile Lilith leaves us with some karmic issue regarding our “wild side” particularly though not necessarily to do with sexuality and the dark and wild side of anything female.  Pallas quadrinovile Astraea brings breakthroughs in law and legal areas, but do keep in mind the aforementioned issues with Neptune / Chiron.  The best use of the quadrinovile is for development of skills.

The moon will be full tomorrow, but you already feel it today.  On this particular FM, with Moon in Capricorn, people can be particularly heartless and do stupid things that harm the innocent in the name of money or progress or some similar kind of rot.  Expect coverups.

Tuesday

Pluto biseptile Hygeia brings health and healing issues to the forefront.  They cannot be ignored today.  Mercury is highly active, and its trine to Saturn helps us accomplish much early in the day.  But a later inconjunct to Neptune makes things messy again later.  A Mercury triseptile to Pluto makes this another karmic day as well.

The full moon perfects today, and the moon is in Capricorn (a bad place for it).  We repeat our warning from yesterday: people can be particularly heartless and do stupid things that harm the innocent in the name of money or progress or some similar kind of rot.  Expect coverups.

Keep in mind that the Sun is void after perfection of today’s Full Moon, and it continues void until Friday.

Wednesday

Outer planet aspects are silent, but Mercury and Venus, particularly Venus, are active today.  Sun septile Jupiter gives this day a karmic feel (yet another one!), and Mercury biseptile Mars amplifies this and adds an element of possible danger (which could manifest on Tuesday or Thursday as well).  Venus sesquiquadrate Chiron adds a sense of urgency to the ongoing health issues we mentioned yesterday.  You must address these if at all possible.  A novile to Jupiter gives us an important insight, particularly if it involves higher education, law or legal, or foreign travel or foreign visitors.  A trine of Venus to Saturn can open a window, a short one, for a possible “May-June” romance.

Keep in mind that the Sun is void and continues void until Friday.

Thursday

Today is all about insights and lessons.  People who are in “sexually oriented businesses” or anything remotely similar will have a chance to “jump ship” and leave and go do something else.  These same people may put police officers at risk.  People in financial markets can have career changing experiences today.

Friday

The outer planets are nearly silent again today, only offering a peculiar Mars / Pallas “decile” aspect that is difficult to interpret.  In early morning hours the Sun moves into Leo, that gives many of us some relief (particularly Aries, Leo, and Sadge, but also Libra, Aquarius, and Gemini).  If you were smart, you held off on doing important things during the Solar void (unless you had not meaningful choice).  Tomorrow gives you the best day this week for powerful accomplishment, but it is not perfect.

Mercury is active again, and a triseptile to Neptune is both karmic and messy.  Great for photographers, poets, songwriters, and similar artists but terrible for signing contracts or anything “serious.”

Saturday

Venus is biseptile Mars, and that brings ANOTHER karmic day.  No relief, at least not yet.  Mercury biquintile Chiron brings genius level insight regarding those health issues we mentioned earlier, and certain medical researchers may have breakthrough ideas visit them today.  Pay attention to that penicillin mold that is “ruining your experiment.”  Uranus quadrinovile emphasizes the power and importance of this insight and requires that you “pay attention” regarding health and healthcare issues.  Write down (or otherwise capture) those insights!

Pallas quincunx Hygeia means that some of these ideas will look like false hopes.  (Some of them will be.)  But, torque your awareness in a bit of a different direction and you may find a brilliant insight.

Overview

We are deep into Cancer and an ongoing Grand Water Trine involving Cancerian planets (Sun, Mercury, Venus), Mars in late Scorpio, and Neptune / Chiron in Pisces.  It is a GREAT time to make money, but it can also be a time that brings sorrow (water) or other powerful emotions (water).  It is also a DANGEROUS week and a week of REVOLUTIONARY THOUGHT.  The Full Moon happens next week, and we move into the waning “cleanup” period of the lunar cycle after that.  This means you need to “get certain things done” this week.

This is a very Martian week, so you can accomplish much if you avoid temper tantrums and avoid dangerous people, places, and things.

Sunday

A Mars / Neptune high order aspect brings an odd sense that maybe things are not what they seem.  That rather incredible salesperson you encounter, who may be wearing clothes other than salesperson such as “poets, priests and politicians” who “have words to thank for their positions,” may sound too good to be true.  You know the warning: “If it sounds too good to be true….”

Sun sextile Jupiter CAN make this a good day for some people, and Mercury trine Mars CAN make it a good day to take action.  Just stick with existing plans you know well and avoid buying into the snake oil salespersons.  You already have your own good ideas and plans and need to funnel your energy into THOSE.  (Do NOT let yourself get sidetracked by someone.)

Monday

Vesta and Pallas form a high order aspect that MIGHT give us an ingenious idea about our traditions but Mars forms a quincunx to Vesta leading to certain false hopes about actually taking action on those ideas.  I suspect that police and security forces will be having meetings today about the shootings in Baton Rouge, Minnesota, and Dallas last week.  The ideas will sound very good, and they may be very good, but a flaw in their execution may make things worse rather than better.

Mercury square Uranus brings brilliant ideas, especially to writers and engineers, and especially to electrical engineers and computer scientists.  Breakthroughs in these domains (and related) happen today.  Mercury also trines Chiron, so some of the most compelling writing ever written might happen today.  But Venus is void until late, so edits or revisions may be necessary later (maybe tomorrow or, better yet, Wednesday).

Tuesday

Today is EXTREMELY complex and a bit difficult to interpret.  TWO BiSeptiles tell us that we may be facing yet another “Karma Day” similar to those of the shootings of last week and the Pulse Club shootings in Orlando.  Neptune BiSeptile Vesta reveals the fatal flaw (poor choice of words, admittedly) in yesterday’s ideas and plans.  They omit some important human consideration(s).

Pluto BiSeptile Ceres causes individuals to look very hard at their diet and exercise and retirement plans; financial markets (stocks, bonds, options, futures) may face a “correction” relative to recent events.

Juno, the angry wife / daughter / mother / sister, is semi-square the North Node (Rahu in Vedic, Dragon’s Head) which also makes her necessarily sesquiquadrate Ketu (South Node, the Dragon’s Tail).  Don’t be surprised to see Hillary and her team on a rampage today, and many other females will be as well.  Indeed, they may be the very factor that the security forces have not considered.  Instead of “Mothers Against Drunk Drivers” it might be “Mothers Against Police Shooters.”  If you are laughing, then don’t laugh too loud.  It just could be.

A lunar void from about 10 AM CDT until about 4 PM CDT brings a good period for preparation and “wait and see” until time to take action (maybe tomorrow for some).

Wednesday

Today is at least as complex as yesterday, and certain critical issues continue to be in the forefront.  Also coming to the forefront is a shakeup in the “Adult Entertainment” industry.  This could be a large bankruptcy, merger, or both.  Incredible insights will come to those who work in that business, and a revolution there is at hand.  Mark this day well, it represents a big shift.

If you do not work in adult entertainment, this could be another day of “great sex” for certain people.  And if that is not much of your life at this point, then you will be exploring your inner “dark side” and “inner demons” and can have some great ideas.  As we always say, “write them down” or record them in some appropriate fashion.  Certain writers and photographers will have a breakthrough on this date.

If you work in the mental health field, you may see an AMAZING breakthrough with a patient.

Some of you will have the opportunity to learn a new skill.  Seize it; do NOT let this one pass you by.

Note that danger is present today, also, from the Mars / Uranus quincunx that perfects tomorrow.  Mercury in Cancer is void of course most of the day (until 7:47 PM CDT) and miscommunication fuel problems and danger.  Mercury enters Leo and the “too early to tell” period for communication and transportation for a few days (avoid purchase of cell phones, computers, or vehicles such as automobiles or motorcycles).

Thursday

We would like to say that “things” calm down relative to the last two days, but that would not be the truth.  However, things do “simplify” today.  We cannot even say that the “message becomes clear” because Mars Quincunx Uranus stirs things up and can be VERY DANGEROUS.  It is MARS in late SCORPIO in conflict with URANUS in ARIES.  You cannot get more “Martian” (violent, war-like) than that EXCEPT when the same kind of thing happened with a Mars  /Pluto Septile with the Pulse shooter.  No clear winners here, and we bet both attackers and security forces are BOTH injured.

Vesta BiNoviles the North Node (Dragon’s Head aka “Rahu”) and this means we can learn important lessons if we are paying attention.  A shift in consciousness is needed, and I am specifically referring to an “aha” moment rather than meditation or “tapping” or something like that.  A breakthrough insight is needed, and one can be had if you are paying attention.  If you are sleepy, then go outside in the bright sunlight and let it WAKE YOU.  You need your awareness today.

Moon in Scorpio amplifies the existing Grand Water Trine AND also amplifies the potential for danger.  People are not very flexible today.

Friday

Neptune forms a quadrinovile to Hygeia, and certain healthcare professionals can have important insights and learn new skills.  A few will have breakthroughs that lead to important patents.  Yesterday’s message is still true: “you need your awareness today.”

Mars is Septile Pluto, an aspect similar to the Pulse Shooter, and danger continues.   Avoid risky people, places and things.  Maybe staying home tonight is a good idea, or at least limiting your social events to small parties with well known and stable friends.

Mars / Jupiter may also lead us to over-react or consume too much food or mood altering substances.  And, if none of those apply, you might overspend today on some shiny toy that you really do not need.  A wise move is to channel your efforts into harnessing your existing resources in the best fashion.  If it is about exercise, avoid the new gizmo and wear out the existing Yoga mat or dumbbells.

A Grand Fire Trine is present, so fire signs are strongest (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) followed by air signs (Libra, Aquarius, Gemini).  This is another day for bright ideas and skills development, so capture them (write them down, record them somehow).

Saturday

Ceres enters Taurus, and it is a bit like New Year’s Eve (or Day) for some people.  New diet and exercise programs become the rage.  People in the finance world have weekend (secret) meetings about the earlier shakeup / shakeout we mentioned.  Wall Street failures tend to favor Trump (the Outsider) over Clinton (Wall Street funding), and some people might be worried about that.

Neptune forms a quadrinovile to Juno, and the angry wives / mothers / daughters / sisters of the world have the opportunity to have a powerful, very nearly psychic, insight.  If you are on the “wrong side” of this, then you are in trouble.  They can pierce into the heart of your secrets.  If it involves “Mothers Against Police Shooters,” then THEY WIN.

Pluto forms a quadrinovile to Vesta.  Police and security forces have another idea (or set of ideas), and THIS one really is “new and improved” and better than the one(s) earlier this week.  This set of ideas really CAN “work.”  (You should have listened to those guys in the first place.  It probably means getting the Juno personalities involved and on the SAME SIDE as security and police forces.)

Uranus is quincunx Astraea, so thoughts of lawyers and lawsuits will probably lead into failure.  Be careful about going down this blind alley.

Sun squares Uranus (an annual aspect) today, so prepare to be surprised.  Possibly violence continues, including explosions, and revolutions and revolutionary ideas dominate the day.

Sun in Cancer later forms a Grand Water Trine (Mars in Scorpio; Chiron in Pisces) that trumps anything from yesterday.  Water signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces) tend to win followed by earth signs (Capricorn, Taurus, Virgo).  Much of this bleeds over into Sunday (tomorrow).

July 2016 (Mars Out)

Overview

We have ups and downs this week, but it is mostly a “good week.”  For most people, most of the time, it is “all systems go.”  If you are contemplating approaching someone to start a romance, chances are good that this is the week to do it.  Even if it is a short-lived “summer romance,” you will still have happy memories from it.  (“Go for it.”)

Sunday July 3rd

Sun Trines Neptune making this a “feel good” day for many but a source of confusion for others.  Do not take anything too seriously today, and certainly do not sign any contracts.  Pluto makes several subtle aspects to asteroids, and you may “feel” this as subtle power struggles, more undercurrents and unspoken than direct confrontation.  Health issues could come to the surface for some.  Mercury sesquiquadrate Mars can loose a few to “lose their cool,” but that is more the exception than the rule.

Monday July 4th

In the United States, this is the Independence Day celebration.  Curiously, the UK (or at least some of it) has declared independence from the EU and many are unhappy about that.  If the “colonies” were to try to declare independence from England today instead of 1776, would it cause a war?  You bet!  Maybe not so much has changed since 1776 except that we can conceal the concentration of power as being “liberal” and somehow benevolent and the world will end if someone decides to break away.

We have a New Moon in Cancer in the early morning hours, so let’s be clear: this is a time for “out with the old and in with the new.”  Interpret that as you may.

Later in the day we may find ourselves frustrated by wrestling with annoying details.  Put that off until another day if you can.  Step outside of yourself and do something to help someone else.  Uranus triseptile Hygeia tells us that an accident can happen today, and if you are alert you can save a life.  Watch toddlers near water, and keep an eye on older adults for possible signs of a “stroke” in this heat.  (See, also: FAST.)  Again, you might can save a life today, but only if you are alert and “on top of things.”

Tuesday July 5th

Those celebrating the holiday go back to work, and the morning has a void of course moon in Cancer in North America and the same affects the EU and UK in the afternoon / evening.  Mercury trine Neptune makes this another day like Sunday: great for poetry and fun and photography and video but terrible for signing contracts or making serious commitments.  Let’s be clear: this is a day that is unclear.  You can be fooled, easily, today.

Saturn quintile Hygeia gives us a practical idea about how to solve a health problem.  As we always say: write it down!

Wednesday July 6th

Venus (Cancer) trines Mars (ever so barely direct in Scorpio), and the sex can be good, especially if it is “break up sex.”  Some people re-kindle a flame (wrong metaphor, admittedly, for water signs) that was thought long extinguished.  These two effectively form a Grand Water Trine, and this can be quite a money-maker for some people.  Mercury and the Sun join, and we see possibly important insights in transportation and communication this evening.  As with last weekend, write down your ideas no matter how silly or unrealistic they currently seem.  You will “connect the dots” later.  See, also: Jobs at Stanford.

Lilith is aspected two different ways (at least) today, so this emphasizes the passionate sex.  If that is not an option for you, then either you or someone else is likely to “break all the rules” today.  Chances are good they (or you) cannot be stopped, but Juno (angry wife) novile (smart ideas) Astraea (lawyers) tells us that someone else (namely anyone betrayed) might have bright ideas today, too.

Mercury opposes Pluto early tomorrow, and you might feel the power struggles this evening.  Or, again, it could be great sex.  Or, both.

Thursday July 7th

Mercury opposes Pluto early, and some of us are in bad accidents or become involved in road rage incidents.  Watch out for power struggles.  Venus squares Uranus leading to unusual and maybe creative ideas, and yesterday’s rather vanilla romance can become extra kinky today.  Boredom is impermissible.  Sun opposes Pluto, and issues of power struggles, taxes, and finance are amplified.  Review the accounts, and look especially for anything that went “astray” earlier this week.  Mars (anger, violence, war) is quite active today, and Juno (the angry wife, daughter, or sister) enters Scorpio (sneak attacks).  If you have misbehaved, then your toothbrush might be used to clean the toilet.

Sun opposite Pluto also is part of a powerful and transformative Mystic Rectangle that can open a window where you can accomplish things you cannot ordinarily accomplish.  Use that wisely.

Things CAN turn a bit odd late this evening, and feelings can be hurt.  Watch what you say.  But, in some cases, a heart to heart may be overdue, and it may be time to “lance the boil.”  Use your best judgment.

Friday July 8th

Bright ideas are with us again; write them down.  Be careful of overspending, but you might make some good purchases if you have done the research!  They will not be cheap, but they can be quite useful.

Two outer planet / asteroid septiles tell us today is about karma and making amends / helping someone who cannot help themselves is a good idea.  Keep in mind that Mars septile Pluto was active the night the Pulse shooter harmed so many in Orlando.  Defuse the situation if you can, and that includes helping someone who might look “harmless.”  The operative word here is HELP.  Calling the police to incarcerate them will just amplify the situation and should be avoided if possible.  Saturn binoviles Astraea, and someone in the legal world has a rather bright (and practical) insight.  A wrong move today can put you on the wrong side of a lawsuit.  Don’t go there.

Focus on problems solving today and avoid blame (unless you are a lawyer, and even then it might still be a good idea).

Saturday July 9th

Sun sextiles Jupiter (on Friday on the West Coast of the U.S. but early AM for the rest of us, before noon in UK and EU).  Mercury trines Mars, and we can achieve much if we avoid temper tantrums (our owns and those of others).  Jupiter BiQuintiles Uranus, and someone has a brilliant idea about how to make a LARGE amount of money.  I bet someone takes home a BIG lotto win tonight!  The rest of us continue to have some rather brilliant insights.  Again, write them down.  And, maybe, discuss them with someone you know you can trust.
